Steven Gätjen serves as the Gamemaster; broadcasting from his Cologne studio, he sends the celebrities fleeing to a pre-selected major European city on October 17—giving them a one-hour head start. From that point on, their goal is to avoid being caught by the "Hunters" and their community for five days. Meanwhile, Kiwi, Jenke, and Chris Tall must complete tasks that lure them out of hiding and into the public eye. Throughout the hunt, they also wear distinctive red-and-white striped shirts.
