Kemal and Nuri are two friends who make a living as street vendors. They live together in a house they rent from Mrs. Mualla. The two friends' business is not going well. Their customers are not satisfied with their goods. On top of that, they are in trouble with the police. They cannot pay the rent because they cannot make ends meet. Moreover, they now need even more money. They have become friends with two cousins they rescued from drowning. Nermin and her cousin are impressed by Kemal and Nuri’s sincerity.
