Maria da Conceição Evaristo de Brito (Belo Horizonte, November 29, 1946) is a Brazilian linguist and writer. She had a prolific career as a university researcher and professor. She is one of the most influential literary figures of the postmodernist movement in Brazil, writing in the genres of poetry, the novel, the short story, and the essay. Her works address themes such as racism, social inequality, identity, memory, and—above all—the lived experiences of Black women, employing comparative literature to gain a critical perspective on these subjects.فلمەکانی ئەکتەر (13)
